Promotions Committee
The promotions committee is one of the busiest of our committees. These folks are responsible for the majority of events that happen in the downtown. Some of their annual events include:
- Wednesday Night Celebration,
July 18 - Aug 29 – A large street fair beginning with the
third Wednesday in July and typically ending on the
Last Wednesday of August. This event features live music from two bands, a farmers market, plenty of craft and food vendors, street performers, Classic Cars, a kids area and surprises every week.
Some of our past events have included:
- Downtown Dinner Tour and Comedy Show – A progressive Dinner through the downtown restaurants culminating in a comedy show at a downtown location.
- Arts and Antiques in April – Visit many of our downtown merchants to view the work of local artists and sample wines from California. Of course, our featured merchants are our antique dealers. Some of the locations also feature music from local musicians.
- Volunteer Appreciation Event – This is a function of the Organization Committee, but the promotions committee generally lends a hand here as well.
